A court in the Chinese region of Xinjiang has five people to death for his role in
the bloody ethnic riots of July, the worst convicted for decades.
The sentences that the number of people condemned to die in riots at a total of 22.

The Chinese authorities have said most of the victims, most members of the Han

Turkish minority in Xinjiang in China, who calls his home.
Ethnic tensions broke 5th July, as the Uyghur in Urumqi, to oppose the fighting in a
factory in southern China, which had two Uyghur protest dead.
Stores were smashed and burned cars, attacked passers Uighur demonstrators.
Two days later, the two groups have been revenge, while the police very difficult to
recover the fine.
Authorities say, 197 people were killed and almost 1,700 injured during the riots.
